The #Cloggers you might well ask “What’s a Clogger”, well it’s a name for an ever growing group of Cork Bloggers. Shell from http://www.shelllabelle.com/ originally set up the group and I was on board immediately. With a love for events and organisation it was right up my street.
We decided to kick start the group with our first event which took place in Market Cafe Perry st Cork . https://www.facebook.com/perrystreetmarketcafe
It was the perfect venue as it was an intimate setting for our first “Inaugural ” Event & to me that was important as it created a special ambenience for the evening & made every blogger feel special and at ease.
There was weeks of organising, emails, phone calls, meetings etc, etc late nights & worry but in the end it all came together beautifully !Thanks to The Independent for the shoutout
To kick start the night we had the lovely Tracey from Bia Beauty who is passionate about creating natural and effective skin care. Tracey Ryan has an honours degree in Herbal Science and uses this knowledge to select the best ingredients and to create products that nourish, repair and pamper the skin.
Bia is the Irish word for food – we use simple but highly effective edible ingredients such as nut and seed oils, herbs, fruits and butters – “superfoods for the skin”. Your skin absorbs up to 60% of what you apply to it so our message is to feed your skin with natural ingredients.
Much loved Orange & Grapefruit Exfoliant & Cleanser to the award winning Detox Body Scrub, every one of the products is made in Cork, Ireland with care and passion. There are absolutely no synthetic fragrances or preservatives, parabens or sodium lauryl sulphate. There products will give you all the benefits of a luxury brand at very affordable prices.
Elizabeth Arden were next up with loads of insight into their new Oxygen Blast Facial which sounded amazing by the way & lots more besides.
Some bubbly & delicious food which we had on the night .
We had fab goodies from the lovely people at Therapie on Opera Lane ! Link below:
Nathan Adams aka Mr.Cork came and spoke about social media & and how to deal with the good and bad side of being in the public eye !
Sam McCauleys in Mahonpoint were so kind and sponsored some lovely goodies for our raffle which raised 200.00 euros for The Sexual Violence Centre in Cork. I was thrilled about that as its a cause close to my heart so thanks again to all who purchased tickets on the night.
